I am particularly proud to welcome you to this historic site which is unique in the world. You will have the opportunity to relive great moments of Acadie which is dear to our hearts. When you come to Grand-Pré, you will witness the story of the Acadians, a people with great courage, and you will discover how these families shaped Acadie, a beacon of hope and survival for mankind, for all posterity.

Acadian Days 2014

Summer Pleasures at Grand-Pré - Camp for young families and youth: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 18th to 20th

Sunday Program, July 20th

Celebrate Canada Day, Tuesday, July 1st, from  9 am to  5 pm at Grand-Pré National Historic Site. Parks Canada invites you to take part in an acrylic painting workshop, for ages 8 and up, inspired by the wild Acadian horses of Sable Island National Park Reserve with artist François Gaudet. While on site, have some Canada Day cake, enjoy the reading of The Story of Evangelineby author Vina Palmeter, and listen to the Acadian musical performances by musician Brett Pierce.
