Friday, July 20, 6:30 pm to 8 pm

Les Amis de Grand-Pré, in collaboration with the Société Promotion Grand-Pré, are proud to present Acadian Days 2012.

On Friday evening, the Amis de Grand-Pré are holding an evening of French conversation at Grand-Pré National Historic Site at 6:30 p.m.

Marielle Cormier Boudreau will give a brief talk on traditional Acadian cuisine. Her book, La cuisine traditionnelle en Acadie, written in collaboration with Melvin Gallant, has been an Acadian bestseller since 1975. It was translated as A Taste of Acadie. Her latest book, La médecine traditionnelle en Acadie, has also been a great success. Marielle Cormier Boudreau is retired from the Université de Moncton (Shippagan Campus) where she taught French and Acadian folklore.
