Art Show - Emerging Artists
September 5 to October 15, 2010
The Nova Scotia Acadian Association of Artists (AAANÉ) cordially invites you to an exhibition of paintings which will be held in the Art Gallery at Grand-Pré National Historic Site from September 5 to October 15. The exhibition is called Liberté.
“Liberty” was chosen as the theme of the exhibition in order to commemorate the survival of the Acadian people and to celebrate their freedom and equality. Five Acadian emerging artists from Nova Scotia were inspired by this theme. The exhibition includes four paintings by each of the following artists: Imelda Currans, Donna d'Entremont, Ghislaine Fecteau, Elisabeth Hulshoff et Father Maurice LeBlanc.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on September 5 at 12:30 in the Grand-Pré Art Gallery. The artists will also show others paintings from their respective collections. This is an ideal opportunity to purchase inspired Acadian art.
