Acadian Passport - Launch July 28 PDF Print E-mail

ACADIAN PASSPORT

Launch - July 28, 2010

The general public is invited to attend the official launch of the Acadian Passport at the Grand-Pré National Historic Site at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday July 28th.

Immediately after the launch of the Acadian Passport, everyone is invited to attend the wreath laying ceremony at the Deportation Cross at Horton Landing that begins at 12:00 noon.

The Acadian passport is in French. It is the perfect reference document on Acadie, designed for people who live in Acadie, for people of Acadian origin, and for Acadians at heart. It  promotes Acadie and pride in Acadie.

This passport gives you everything you need to know about Acadie: the crest, the motto, the national anthem, and other symbols. There are also important dates, well-known public  figures, and historical events. This is an original and informative document that will open the doors of Acadie.

Since the Société Nationale de l'Acadie is a non-profit organization, the proceeds from the sale of the passport will be used to cover reprinting costs and for various international activities.
