11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - Mass celebrated in French (under the big top) by Father Maurice LeBlanc, co-celebrated with Mission Ste-Famille from Dartmouth and Deacon Pierre Josse from France. Mass sponsored by the Société Promotion Grand-Pré and the Amis de Grand-Pré.

Carmen d'Entremont and Sébastien Dol

The group Unisson was initially formed to perform in restaurants in the Baie Sainte-Marie during summer associated with the program Musique de la Baie. The group's repertoire is varied and includes reels, jigs, valses, two-steps and mazurkas. The musical styles include bluegrass, cadien, celtic and music from the Maritimes, as well as traditionnal Acadian songs. Sébastien Dol (violin, voice and guitar) comes from a fa,ily od violinists (5th generation) and plays the violin since the age of fifteen. He played with Feutchaque, Quinico, Beauphare and Unisson. Carmen d’Entremont (voice, violin, ti-fer and wooden spoons) performed in Musique de la Baiefor many years and founded the group Quinico with André Muise. She holds a Masters in oral litterature and is working towards her doctorate in the same discipline. Simon Robichaud (guitare, basse, mandoline and voice) is a membrer of several musical formations and is very versatile with the electric base, the guitar, the mandoline and voice. The three members of Unisson also belong to the group Cadien that performs authentic Cajun music from Louisiana.

Monique Poirier

Monique performs as singer-musician and song writerfor more than 15 years. She first appeared at Pays de la Sagouine (1994 - 2001) and with Les Muses (2000 - 20005). She collaborated as song writer on several albums, including the albums if Annie Blanchard (Sur l’autre rive) and George Belliveau (L’amour viendra nous sauver; Prise II). She represented New-Brunswick in grand performances celebrating music and culture from the Atlantic Provinces in over 40 performances during the Olympic Games in Vancouver. Monique was in charge of artistic direction for the performances Solidarité Acadie-Haïti Moncton (2010); Ode à Noël (2009) and artistic codirection of Carte blanche aux artistes d’Ode (2007-2008-2009).  She launched her first solo album in 2011.
