Grand-Pré, 23 May, 2010 – This year, Saltscapes Magazine has listed Grand-Pré National Historic Sites as one of the top ten picnic places in Atlantic Canada. This beautiful site offers a variety of spectacular views, from the romantic intimacy of the old weeping willows to the vast expanse of the marshlands.

Enjoy the world-class exhibits in the new Visitor Centre, visit the memorial church, and take a stroll around the Victorian gardens. You can bring your own picnic or you can purchase an Acadian picnic for two, prepared by chef Michael Howell and served in a beautiful picnic basket. Michael Howell’s Acadian picnic for two costs $30 and will be available in the Visitor Centre from July 1st to August 31st.
