This site is located at the edge of a gently sloping plateau about 250m south of the Grand-Pré marsh. It consists of a low mound, measuring approximately 10m north-south by 12m east-west. When Parks Canada archaeologists investigated this site in the summer of 1972, it was a ploughed field, and they collected several artifacts from the surface. While no architectural features have been excavated and recorded, this is almost certainly the site of an old building of some kind. |
